The First Annual Friends of Hutch Golf Tournament – this event was held on Sunday, July 20th, at the Riverdale Golf Course in Brighton, Colorado. Many prizes, donated by local businesses and individuals, were awarded. Prizes included Cleveland Hybrid clubs, putters, numerous gift certificates from local businesses, and a Ford Mustang provided by Sil-TerHar Ford for the Hole-in-One contest. On August 8th the Hutchinson Family Benefit Coffee House and Raffle, featuring the Green Apron Talents of Starbucks Coffee, was held from 6 PM to 9 PM at The Venue (5450 West 120th Avenue in Broomfield). Everyone enjoyed free Starbucks coffee and Frappucinos, raffle prizes and great entertainment. A special thanks to everyone involved! Hutchinson Family Benefit Coffee House and Raffle
On September 5th at 6:00 PM a spaghetti feed will be hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9741 at 700 Carbondale Drive in Dacono. Adult tickets are $12 and children are $6. Tickets available in advance through Ron Wolf at (303) 253-2732 and can also be purchased at the door. A cash bar will be open.
Your participation in any of these events and/or donations will be a huge help to me and my family as we face the financial and emotional burdens associated with this difficult cancer. For those unable to participate in one of the events, donations can be made by contacting the Adams County office of the Colorado State Patrol at (303) 289-4760. Contributions big and small are appreciated and tax-deductibility is available.
My Fundraising for Others
As I near the end of my own chemotherapy and anticipate being able to return to ‘normal’ life and work I already have some plans in the works. This will be fundraising for others.
Right now, I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I’m asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign.
